I had to take my cat in to the Vet today to get her teeth cleaned.  At the end of the day when I came to collect her I had to wait a few minutes to speak with the Vet tech.  I amused myself by reading some of the articles and letters they had clipped and framed in the lobby.  Apparently the clinic had some recent elementary school visitors who had stopped by to learn about animals…and watch a horse have surgery.  I’m not a 100% on the details but I am confident that the horse was sedated from one letter that stated “I know if you did that stuff to me I would want to be asleep too.”  Another chimed in to say, “It was really neat to learn about the horses, but I thought all of the blood was gross.”  My favorite came from a 1st grader who wrote, “What time is your lunch time?  You could come to my house and meet my horse and tell me where you went to school because you know too much.”
